There are four unique ways to have your driveway paved:
R&R (Remove and Replace): Asphalt is taken away and a new layer is placed and compacted.
Grade and Pave: Stone base is leveled off, then a layer of asphalt is placed and compacted.
Dig-Out Driveway: This occurs when your existing driveway is excavated to a depth of 12 inches minimum, and 9 inches of stone is added, then a layer of asphalt is placed and compacted.
Mill and Pave: Old asphalt is ground down to a predetermined depth. The grindings are removed, and then a layer of asphalt is placed and compacted.
